Just thought I would alert you to the fact that Michelle at the extremely useful FoodsMatter has split off all the freefrom recipes from throughout the years into a dedicated site at www.freefromrecipesmatter.com.
You will find tons of different ideas there and Michelle is very conscious of the need for grain free recipes and is already starting to put a few on there for us.
One due to be listed quite shortly, for example, is this recipe for Butter Bean and Coconut Hummus, which sounds yummy:
2 x 400g/14oz tins butter beans, drained
2 large cloves garlic, crushed
2 small bird’s eye green peppers, deseeded and chopped small
100ml / 3 floz coconut milk
sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
Put all the ingredients except the seasoning into a food processor and whizz, then season to taste. Serve with raw or blanched vegetables (I used yellow peppers and very lightly steamed thin green beans) or crackers.
